2026年8月17日から21日にイスタンブールにて開催される国際地理学会議（IRC）の登録の締め切りが延長されました（発表の申し込み締め切りは過ぎております）。

登録（registration）の新たな締め切りは2026年4月30日です。

Announcement of the 5th Workshop of Asian Young Geographers (5-8 June 2026, Guangzhou)

 Dear colleagues,

I am writing to inform you that the 5th Workshop of Asian Young Geographers will be held from 5–8 June 2026 at South China Normal University, Guangzhou, China.

Hosted by the Asian Geographical Association Young Geographers Working Group (AGA-YGWG), in collaboration with the Geographical Society of China (GSC-WCYG) and the International Geographical Union (IGU-YECG), this year's theme is "Innovating Asia, Reshaping the World." The workshop will provide a vital platform for early-career scholars across Asia to share cutting-edge research and foster international collaboration.

Key dates:

• 10 March 2026: Organised session proposals due
• 10 May 2026: Abstract/full paper submission and registration deadline

The conference website (https://asiageo2026.casconf.cn) will open in March 2026 for registrations and submissions. Session proposals may be submitted prior to this date via email to ASIAYGWG2026@163.com.
